Mature, respectful children are OK and a canine companion is preferred.Ĭhloe is being fostered in Southeast Michigan. If you think Chloe would be a great addition to your family and you have the time to provide the love and attention she needs and deserves, please fill out an application.Ī physically fenced yard is required. She is great in the car and learning to walk on a leash. She probably wants back on someone's lap to cuddle! She has made good progress through an entrance with no stairs. Once outside she wanted to come right back in after going potty. At first we carried her to the yard and gradually worked on her coming out on her own. It seemed she was afraid to go through the door way, down a few stairs and out the door and would hold back and wait. Chloe started out very hesitant to go outside with the other dogs. She is almost house trained, but needs to keep working on it. Her coat is short and smooth, very soft and you just can't resist petting her.Ĭhloe is 4 1/2 yrs old and has been spayed, given vaccinations, is heart worm neg, other labs are normal and she does not have a heart murmur. She is flexible, willing to sleep in a crate or on the big bed. She also made friends easily with humans and the other dogs in her foster home - or maybe it was her dream coming true! She is very affectionate and wants to be on a lap whenever possible. She seemed to already know about being petted and being on the couch. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.Meet Chloe! She came to Lucky Star from a breeding facility. I would love to meet you and see if we could maybe become a family. Well, it turns out I am more than 1/3 King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, Chihuahua, and some Bluetick Coonhound, Toy Fox Terrier, and Rat Terrier mixed in to add some pazazz to my genetics! I know I don't look like most King Charles Cavalier Spaniels, but my genes don't lie. The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club of Canada will occasionally be contacted requesting help to rehome a Cavalier. Oh, and I should tell you I steal slippers and Kleenex, hee hee! My foster mom is always checking to make sure her slippers are safe and no Kleenex is laying around.Ī DNA test was done on me because my foster mom wanted to know about any breed link to my kidney issue. So I guess I'd have to meet your other doggies to be sure they would want to play with me. I'm a kinda in-your-face pup, and some dogs don't like that. I entertain myself by throwing my toys around and chasing after them. I also love to play with chew toys and other dogs that like to play. But aside from that I am one of the happiest doggies you'll ever meet! I love everyone. I don't like getting poked, but it makes me feel better so I put up with it! I also eat a prescription food for dogs with kidney issues and need to have my blood checked every few months. What does that mean? I need to have fluids weekly to flush out toxins in my body. It's true I have chronic kidney disease because my kidneys are kinda small and don't work so well. You may have read about me in another post on FB that talked about my sickness. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello! Let me introduce myself.
